Simulations offer users the opportunity to imitate a process, experiment, or other physical experience, often without leaving their computers. Thanks to the development of cyberinfrastructure and other high-performance computing processes, today's students can now perform detailed experiments, participate in collaborative critical thinking explorations, and engage in scenarios virtually. This session will be an introduction to simulation technology, offering a brief look at potential uses and opportunities on campus.
