Requests for IT services are never ending, and selecting which of the many project requests to address is a challenge faced by IT shops every day. Without a structured approach, it's impossible to ensure IT resources are focused to support the college's goals and strategic initiatives. Mt. Hood Community College has addressed this dilemma by implementing Agile project management to provide a structured approach for prioritizing its IT needs. This session will describe processes, discuss challenges that arose when imposing a project management structure where there had previously been none, and provide templates and other materials.
