Virtual Worlds (Second Life) Constituent Group Discussion

Tuesday, February 22, 2011 | 12:45PM–1:45PM | Meeting Room 400
Session Type: Professional Development, WSWRC11
Many instructors and institutions have embraced the idea of using virtual environments as a teaching tool and learning platform. Now that we are past the initial hype, a deeper conversation can take place about the growing variety of platforms and challenges in working with this new technology. The Virtual Worlds Constituent Group will meet this year at the West/Southwest Regional Conference to continue this conversation. This discussion session is open to all conference attendees and will take place simultaneously in Austin, and in Second Life. For more information about the constituent group, visit http://www.educause.edu/groups/vw, where you can also sign up for the mailing list.
