Many educational institutions, government agencies, and corporations are adopting the Google application suite—Docs, Calendar, Gmail, and Chat—for daily work, research, and collaboration. While these tools can improve users' productivity significantly, they can also be a major bottleneck and hindrance for users with disabilities. Google has improved the accessibility of Google Apps, but ensuring that it is accessible to people of all types of disabilities is a challenge, especially given the complexities in delivering highly interactive web applications. In this session we'll share the results of our recent accessibility evaluation on selected Google Apps products.
