Tuesday, March 27, 2012 | 11:45AM–12:30PM | Zurich B
Session Type: Professional Development
How do students find, use, and learn from digital resources? We'll share our analysis of qualitative data gathered from students at 10 institutions to better understand how students supplement their learning with additional resources. Many behaviors were predictable, for example most students start searches for learning resources in Google. Our findings indicate that factors related to discipline, institution and context for the search. Attendees will be asked to share their experiences and guide the second stage of our research.
