The Information Commons Student Assistant Program: Meeting Users' Technology and Information Literacy Needs Anywhere, Anytime

Tuesday, March 27 | 2:30PM–3:30PM | St. Gallen, 2nd Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Butler University's Information Commons (IC) service is a student-focused collaboration between the Center for Academic Technology and Butler University Libraries. IC student assistants provide library research assistance and academic technology training and support to both students and staff. While there are physical Information Commons service points, both in the library and the Center for Academic Technology, the concept of the program is vested in our student staff: Information Commons exist wherever any of our student staff members are working. Our poster session or presentation will demonstrate how we are creating this ubiquitous service for the Butler University community.
