Session Type: Professional Development
ANVILL (A National Virtual Language Lab) is the University of Oregon's suite of web-based speech tools designed for language teachers and students at all levels. Wrapped in a Drupal-based CMS and built around five Flash applications for speech and video, ANVILL gives teachers a flexible and easy-to-use environment for constructing and sequencing both synchronous and asynchronous language tasks and assessments. More than a thousand language instructors internationally now use ANVILL. This poster session will showcase the courses and types of tasks they've developed with this free software.
