Experience IT: Exploring Today's Mobile Technologies

The "Experience IT" format offers a hands-on, highly interactive introduction to newer tools and technologies so you can explore their potential impact in the workplace and classroom and on your professional development. Please bring your laptop or other session-specific technology (such as smartphone or tablet) to the session so you can engage with the presenter. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 2pp The “mobile tidal wave” has arrived on campus. From phones with camera, audio, and browsing capabilities to handheld devices for music, books, and multimedia, mobile devices are increasingly being used to access information and break down the walls of the classroom by making course content available anytime, anywhere. This session will showcase mobile technology projects and applications and offers a quick tour of the mobile landscape on campuses.
