Expert Discussion Session: Authoring with ANVILL (A National Virtual Language Lab)

ANVILL (A National Virtual Language Lab) is the University of Oregon's suite of web-based speech applications designed to provide language students at all levels with state-of-the-art audio and video technology and language teachers, both those in face-to-face and distance ed situations, with web-based tools for designing, delivering, and assessing spoken language tasks. More than a thousand K–16 language faculty now use ANVILL. This session will include a demonstration of the kinds of lessons and courses they've developed with ANVILL and conclude with scenarios that will guide participants.
