In the next five years, smartphone and tablet computing use is expected to double. Currently 90% of all college students own one mobile computing device, and two-thirds of all U.S. residents own at least one mobile device. Laptops and PCs are becoming the secondary computing device for students and staff, and CIOs must have an enterprise application strategy for these small, mobile, powerful devices.
