The Path from Pre-Production to Production: Designing and Making Instructional Mobile Apps

The University of Arizona Office of Instruction and Assessment began exploring the feasibility of developing mobile apps for teaching and learning during fall semester 2010. This presentation will describe what we learned, from licensing issues, to resources required to be successful, to roles and skills brought by our campus partners, to the recognition that we can provide an important service while not always being a production house.
