Creating Personal Peer Mentoring Networks for Leadership Development

Tuesday, March 19, 2013 | 3:30PM–4:15PM | Zurich E
Session Type: Professional Development
Interinstitutional personal peer mentoring networks provide a high-value alternative to other types of professional development to create an opportunity for collaboration, accountability, and professional skills development. This session will share anecdotes, techniques, and insights from three individuals who have created a peer mentoring network using social media, video collaboration, and occasional in-person meetings for coaching, advising, and professional development and will challenge the audience to think of how they can leverage their own existing relationships into a personal peer mentoring network.
