iPads in Labs

Twenty-four iPads and a versatile open-source course management system are enabling thousands of undergraduate students to increase hands-on time in their introductory chemistry labs without increasing TA costs and at only a fraction of the cost of possible alternative in-lab data-entry systems. Detailed information concerning equipment, costs, the course management system, logistics, and the implementation of this approach will be provided, along with the opportunity for hands-on experience with the iPad interface.
