Session Type: Professional Development
The University of Memphis is in the fourth year of an institutional effort based on the NCAT model (www.thencat.org) to improve student success through the redesign of lower-division general education courses. The Course Redesign Fellowship (CRF) program, jointly sponsored by the CIO and provost, has emphasized the effective use of instructional technology to improve learning. To date, over 55 courses have been redesigned through this program. In this session, we will share and discuss the outcomes of this effort with emphasis on the relative impact of technology on those outcomes.
