Wednesday, February 13, 2013 | 2:30PM–3:30PM | Capitol Ballroom A-D
Session Type: Professional Development

Any public service point at a university is likely to receive the same set of questions over and over. To help cope with this phenomenon, they often will post a list of frequently asked questions. This poster will demonstrate a new approach that makes use of a dynamic public knowledgebase in an academic library using LibAnswers. The system also allows users to ask new questions through e-mail, text message, Twitter, or chat and offers analytical tools that can help inform library decisions.
