Tuesday, February 12, 2013 | 3:30PM–4:15PM | Capitol Ballroom D
Session Type: Professional Development
Reimplementing an enterprise system shortly after finishing the initial implementation is a scary prospect. Contrary to intuition, this nerve-wracking situation presents some unique opportunities to capitalize on the previous investments to improve quality and customer satisfaction. We will discuss the valuable capital created in a first implementation. These resources include IT depth, interpersonal relationships, functional user knowledge, institutional acceptance, and vendor knowledge in some cases. Session attendees will learn some strategies to convert these assets into a lasting positive outcome for the institution.
