Educators want to maximize the effectiveness of tablet technology in the teaching and learning environment. We will discuss untethered file formats, paperless feedback, grading, annotation, reading, writing, note-taking, storage and file sharing, creating and using e-books, flipping the classroom, and 21st-century assignments and assessment. Participants will use the Socrative app for a real-world example of the use of technology to engage students in the classroom.
