Performance Management: Discover the essentials of effective performance management, including topics such as hiring, performance issues, conflict management, and change management.

Finance and Budgeting: This session will explore two critical aspects of a higher education institution's financial circumstances. The first identifies key indicators of an institution's financial health and maps where you can find them. The second examines the nature of costs in our enterprise and pulls back the camouflage under which those costs often hide.

Learn the basic language of budgeting and financial reporting * Understand common sources and uses of funds in higher education * Understand the connection between your financial decision making and your institution's financial condition * Learn how to use those insights to gain credibility and influence and make better decisions

Managing Up and Moving Up: Learn how to assess what your management style is, how to better understand and communicate with your peers and supervisors, and how managing up can create opportunities for advancement.
