Creating a System of Engagement across Multiple Data Sources Using a Master Data Management Strategy

The master data management (MDM) for biodemo data strategy at ASU focuses on creating a person registry for the ASU CRM system (Salesforce.com). As data flow from disparate data silos to the MDM system, they are cleansed, matched, and deduplicated across ERP and CRM data silos to create a single composite biodemo record for enterprise use. We worked collaboratively through transparent processes to connect to departmental data silos throughout ASU. KPIs were developed and monitored to determine business rules that govern the composite record creation and update processes.
