The pressure to innovate has become an increasing part of the business and mission of institutes of higher education. Colleges and universities endeavor to incorporate innovative thinking, teaching, and technologies in the classroom and beyond. This session will offer multiple scenarios for how to pursue IT innovation on campuses, from finding time for innovation to selecting the biggest-bang-for-your-buck projects to managing the organizational change needed to support these types of projects. We will focus on how to lead innovation efforts while continuing to manage increased operational workloads and share best practices on integrating innovation into regular business operations.
