Monday, April 10, 2017 | 11:15AM–12:15PM | Salon 5/8, Third Floor
Session Type: Breakout Session
In a culture of doing more with less, we are constantly driven to leverage our resources in a manner that ensures value maximization. Drawing from my experience in centralized IT of 600 employees and the current position responsible for technologies and assessment at the Jerry Falwell Library, which supports over 100,000 students and faculty, we will focus on the questions that need to be asked while establishing meaningful metrics within an institutional unit. We will also consider the value those metrics deliver to the unit and the organization through enhancing academic success and promoting strategic alignment.

OUTCOMES: Identify the top 5 metrics delivering value to your organization, determine improvements that could be made to your data-collection process, and create a first draft of steps to be taken to implement the recommended changes you previously identified
