The role of CIO is a role of leading constant change. Whether it is implementing a new technology, reengineering business processes, or executing on strategies to meet institutional challenges, the CIO is the institutional change leader. This session will present an overview of the change process and present an effective change management methodology. The session will focus on the leadership qualities and capabilities necessary for effectively leading change in the increasingly complex industry of higher education.

Objectives:

  • Acquire an effective approach for leading large change initiatives.
  • Gain an understanding of the skills and capabilities of an effective change leader.
