Leading others toward a course of action is a complex process. Curricular change requires particularly nuanced leadership given the traditions of shared governance and faculty independence. Higher education leaders frequently come from academic fields in which there are clear expectations in the ways in which data, research literature, and systematic forms of study should be used. This session will prompt attendees to consider audience expectations as they are increasing called upon to provide, use and present data that relate to teaching and learning.
