Successful delegation and effective time management are essential skills that help managers and their teams achieve project completion on time and within budget. Managers must delegate how to focus on the right things at the right time, while empowering their staff to evaluate the need for change and innovation. Leading others requires avoidance of procrastination while managing the inevitable stress that arises with increased job responsibility.


OUTCOMES: Determine how more focused attention on effective time management and delegation can improve personal and organizational performance * Understand how to select and delegate tasks and responsibilities * Investigate practical techniques to improve supervision versus control issues that arise in those advancing in their management careers
