Negotiation occurs every day in our professional lives, from creating a new job title, to changing job responsibilities, to taking on a new team, to securing a salary increase. In some situations, negotiating may feel challenging, uncomfortable, or even wildly unsuccessful. Practiced negotiation is a skill that can be learned and improved—and can help you become more effective as a day-to-day manager.
