Accessibility Compliance in Distance Learning: Barrier-Free Multimedia

This session will focus on solving the problem of accessibilities, which online students with disabilities face in distance-education courses that include multimedia components. By developing a synchronized transcript system (closed captioning) for multimedia, the Distance Learning Division at WKU is now able to accommodate hearing-impaired students in online courses.
