Achieving Wider Use of Innovations in Educational Technology: Findings from the MIT/Microsoft iCampus Study

With support from Microsoft, MIT faculty developed iCampus, a number of academic software projects for wider use at MIT and at other institutions. What barriers inhibit wider adoption and institutionalization of faculty-developed software? What strategies should universities, corporations, and foundations use to overcome those barriers? We report on findings from a major study.
