Blended Learning and Course Redesign in Higher Education: Assessing the Role of Teaching Presence from the Learner Perspective

This session will explore the effectiveness of blended learning courses in higher education from the learner perspective using the community of inquiry framework. Students in nine courses were surveyed, and the results will be presented along with a discussion about the importance of teaching presence (the design, facilitation, and direction) in blended learning environments.
