Solutions to Digital Discontent: Place and Presence
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 | 9:00AM–10:00AM | International Ballroom F
Session Type:
Professional Development
Students' preferences and demands can challenge existing IT and institutional services, and there is sometimes a disconnect between what today's students expect and what universities are delivering. Two themes will be discussed: learning spaces (virtual and real), and student "presence.Ââ€Finding imaginative solutions for this "digital disconnect" can improve the teaching and learning environment.
