Implementation of Blended Learning for the Improvement of Student Learning (Pilot Program/Emerging Technology)

The session will discuss a grant funded program designed to engage faculty in the development of effective blended courses that integrate instructional technologies to develop student learning and to assist faculty in developing tools and methods that incorporate a culture of assessment and scholarly teaching into their curricula. The presentation will discuss the methodology for faculty training and course (re)design and showcase representative courses. Presenters will also share assessment designs and data gathered from the project that demonstrate how blended course designs with a focus on the integration of instructional technologies into course delivery impacted student learning.
