Online Lightning Round - Open Learning Showcase: Open Source Matters for Lecture Capture and Rich Media

An increasing number of higher ed institutions are interested in lecture capture and rich media integration with their learning environments. But factors like cost, scalability, and policy, along with the numerous choices available can easily paralyze institutions from capitalizing on the rich media's promise. Opencast Matterhorn offers a comprehensive open source lecture capture system and rich media services that allow institutions to explore these technologies with little risk and expand the boundaries of the classroom.
