Preparing Students to Succeed in a Blended Learning Environment (Assessment/Evaluation)

Tuesday, February 15 | 2:30PM–4:30PM | Concourse Foyer and Crystal Corridor
Session Type: Professional Development
The UK National Student Survey (NSS), similar to the U.S. National Survey of Student Engagement, shows that student expectations are changing and the increased use of online environments demonstrates a need for much clearer preparation for students and lecturers using this environment. We have started to explore the changes needed to understand the new paradigms of learning that are compatible with blended learning and virtual learning environments. This is through listening to student voices and then working with lecturers to design appropriate curricula.
