Gathering Evidence to Make an Impact: How Less Can Be More

Gathering evidence on the effectiveness of current practice and innovations is necessary but of limited value if it does not also make an impact. Far too often, effective programs wither and die, and promising innovations fail to influence practice because evidence gathered was neither compelling nor useful. We'll consider the kinds of evidence—and presentation strategies—that powerfully engage and influence managers, faculty, and students. The goal? Greater impact with less, but better-focused, evidence.
