A Cascading Learning Technology Support Model: Making an Impact

Ohio State's Department of Distance Education and eLearning has implemented a program to increase learning technology impact on teaching by sponsoring research-based course enhancement. The presenters will share lessons learned from nine large-scale departmental collaborations. Each collaboration engaged faculty and improved learning by creating exemplar courses using emerging technology (assessed by IRB-approved research components). In addition to describing our best practices for project management and documentation, we will focus on tactics to acquire support from within the department. Findings from the completed projects will be available.
