MOOCs on Campus: Experiences from the Front Lines

Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania are early adopters of the Coursera MOOC platform. Spanning humanities, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, science, and medicine, these courses have close to one million enrollments. In experimenting with MOOCs, we aim to create and disseminate knowledge, to extend commitment to knowledge in service to society, to drive teaching innovation, and to expand our institutions' global reach.
