Social Media Constituent Group Meeting

Tuesday, February 05 | 5:30PM–6:15PM | Governor's Square 14
Session Type: Professional Development
Join us for a dialogue on using social media to increase communication, build online learning communities, create connections between instructors and students, and enhance engagement. We'll focus on harnessing social media's capacity, share our experiences, and explore the implications of integrating social media for teaching, recruiting, advising, and more. For our purposes, social media is defined as media that's used to build social networks and connections for sharing information through a mediated channel (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Second Life, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, and more).
