Transform Your Classroom Using Mobile Technology to Read Your Students' Minds - Room design and furniture provided by Herman Miller

Wednesday, February 06 | 9:30AM–10:15AM | Plaza Ballroom D
Session Type: Professional Development
InkSurvey is free, web-based software that can be used on increasingly affordable pen-enabled mobile technology (tablets, iPads, some smartphones) for real-time formative assessment. When the instructor poses a question, all students in class uses digital ink to write, draw, or graph their responses. The instructor receives these responses instantaneously and can use this glimpse into the students' minds to repair and refine student understanding. Please bring one of these pen-enabled mobile devices: a tablet PC with Firefox or Chrome browser, a mobile tablet or smartphone running Android 4.0 or higher, or an iPad (we've got pens)—or you can borrow one of our devices (a limited number are available).

Learning Objective:
* Learn how to use this powerful tool in a hands-on tutorial session that includes both mastery of the software and tips for effective implementation.
