Higher educational practices are changing at an ever-increasing pace, and faculty development programs that help instructors design, deliver, and evaluate their online and blended courses must likewise adapt to meet the evolving needs of program participants. This workshop will provide a collaborative and interactive opportunity to connect with colleagues and to discuss strategies for leveraging the tools and approaches that effectively engage students in order to increase participation, learning, and success in online and blended faculty development programs. Workshop attendees will consider how to transform their faculty development programs using active learning spaces, gamification, adaptive learning, social media, and more.
