Session Type: Professional Development
Increasing opportunities for access and student retention are challenges facing every institution. In this session, we will highlight three initiatives designed to impact student access and retention. ASU 10 is an online orientation course created for Starbucks College Achievement Plan Scholars; Me3 is an application designed for middle and high school students to explore careers and majors; and transforming medical education with the Mayo Medical School has required collaborative teams to focus on new course models for access and scale. The presentation delivery will include an invitation for dialogue with participants regarding emerging practices focused on access and retention.
