Using the outcomes of the previous session, we'll discuss the practical challenges of launching an effort to collect evidence of the positive impact on student outcomes on your campus. We will share ideas on engaging faculty and staff and informing faculty development and instructional design. Participants will work with Dr. Simone Conceição to reflect and revise research plans and extend them to consider engagement of key stakeholders and diffusion of practices across campus.
Wednesday's learning objectives will include:
Discuss leadership challenges in gathering evidence of key factors that impact student outcomes
Brainstorm ideas for motivating and incentivizing faculty and staff
Explore key factors and effective use cases in faculty development and instructional design
Share effective institutional practices for research and teaching
Reflect on and revise research plan
