Big data is being touted as the next big idea to revolutionize higher ed: headlines in Forbes, Fast Company, and Wall Street Journal all reflect the notion that more data will improve student success. As institutions across the country find themselves with heaps of data, the challenge is what to do with it. Today, 11 public higher ed institutions are stepping up to test, iterate, and develop new innovative strategies—like using data—to help students graduate. Come hear how they're using data to advise and support at-risk students and make decisions about arranging courses to take into account student needs.
