Measurement, Benchmarking, and Improvement of Learning Environments: Using LSRS and FLEXspace to Achieve Institutional Objectives

A growing number of institutions seek to measure the learning potential of formal and informal environments. The Learning Space Rating System (LSRS) and the Flexible Learning Environments eXchange (FLEXspace) have been evolving to assist with planning for renovation and new construction of learning spaces. These tools offer a path to maximize return on investment. Representatives from three institutions will report on the value gained from these tools as they have leveraged the LSRS and FLEXspace.
