Surfacing Institutional Data to Improve the Student Experience

In this presentation, we will discuss how UW-IT supports the student experience by providing analytics to faculty, staff, and students through the life cycle of innovating analytical apps: understanding institutional and student needs, prototyping, evangelizing, developing, and rolling out. The projects we will highlight include a course dashboard for instructors for improving student engagement and data-driven tools for improving students' academic planning.
