Administering Blended Programs: A Campus-Level Perspective

Wednesday, September 15, 2010 | 4:25PM–4:45PM
Session Type: Professional Development

Launching and sustaining a blended learning program requires a rigorous instructional design process and faculty instructional support. Beyond the course experience, however, it also requires high-quality student services, marketing, financial acumen, and ongoing attention to policy and regulatory issues. This presentation will focus on the administrative side of blended program development. Participants will learn strategies for developing an institutional culture favorable to blended program growth, including designing a seed funding pool to incubate new programs, increasing awareness of what constitutes quality in the blended learning experience, marketing blended programs, and attending to policy and budgetary issues.
