Closing the Loop: How to Redesign a Course for Blended Learning
The best way to learn how to redesign a course for blended teaching is to become a blended learner. Our faculty development program comprises both face-to-face sessions and online assignments so that faculty can immediately apply online what they have learned. Our program emphasizes best practices and the development of actual materials to be used in a redesigned course. "Closing the loop" refers both to a requisite of blended course redesign and to the experience of participants in the program itself. This session will review the rationale for including and sequencing program topics, as well as changes to the program.
