Prepared for Success

Thursday, September 16 | 1:10PM–1:50PM
Session Type: Professional Development

The dynamics of today's learning systems hold the promise of preparing our students for academic success. These new dynamics, however, place new demands on today's educators; they require a sharpening of existing skills and the development of new competencies for teaching and learning success. The excitement of active and engaged students in our classrooms along with the affordances of online communications technologies has created a challenging and sometimes confusing environment for educators. This session will explore the skills required now as well as what can we do through faculty development to prepare our educators for success.
