Seeking Open Educational Content, Part I

Wednesday, September 14, 2011 | 3:45PM–4:05PM
Session Type: ELI117

One of the goals for this focus session is to give you an opportunity to identify specific and concrete ways to begin using open education resources in your work and curriculum. Focus session activities have three steps: (1) engaging in discussion and brainstorming activities to identify candidate applications of OER in your work and curriculum; (2) exploring and discovering resources using OER repositories and index sites; and (3) drawing up a list of next steps to utilize the resources you have identified. See the Activity Workbook for instructions.
