Session Type: Professional Development

Given the press to demonstrate quality, there is reason to turn greater attention to the extent to which institutions are using data to improve student learning and success, gauging the impact of their improvement initiatives, and achieving real gains. This session highlights lessons for using NSSE for improvement, and will introduce analysis of trends in student engagement scores over time to explore evidence of improved student engagement and discuss where gains were realized and insights that these changes suggest about patterns of improvement in undergraduate education and strategies for change.
