Student Engagement through Online Commenting and Discussion

NowComment, a free high-end tool for discussion and close reading of online documents, has been used successfully at UVA (Sakai) and other universities for the past three years. This presentation will describe the applications of online commenting for discussing assigned readings and facilitating peer reviews, writing critiques, and engaging in other intellectual collaborations.
