A Blended Journey in Faculty Development
Hear the story of our blended journey at CSU Channel Islands. The Blended Learning Preparation Program (BLPP) is designed to guide faculty through a process of reconceptualizing their teaching practice. Through this program, faculty move from a traditional teaching approach to a learner-focused approach by examining new methods and tools. Faculty members work in cohorts to discuss changes to higher education and how they impact the learner. They learn how to integrate technology and a blended approach to course design into their teaching. This presentation will describe the BLPP and outcomes from our first three cohorts.
